Standard Heritage and AP Cost Consultants win significant project tender

Standard Heritage partnered up with AP Cost Consultants early in 2022 with a view to tendering for local projects in the historic environment.

The firms have complimentary skill sets and were perfectly placed to tender for a project put out by Ramsgate Town Council – the re-purposing of the Grade II listed building; Ramsgate Fire Station to a community centre.

At the same time, Standard Heritage was also in talks with Adrian Lockwood of Lockwood Building Projects about working together and another partnership was formed. Lockwood Building Projects has extensive experience in the commercial environment and deliver urban regeneration in historic environments and their background and experience greatly enhances the teams skill set.

The bid by AP Cost Consultants and Standard Heritage was successful and we won the project on the quality of our submission, our skill sets and the bottom line – we were the most competitive tenderer.

Ramsgate Town Council have re-named the ‘old’ fire station as Radford House in memory of a Mr Radford, who bequeathed money to them.

Radford house will be providing community services that are not currently available to the town. See link for more information at  Ramsgate Town Councils press release;
